I have owned a business for over 20 years, and I have never understood the willingness of others to take advantage of people. I may be old-fashioned, but I believe in handling business. One thing I am reminded of often is that everyone does not think like me. Being in the service industry for this part of my life, I recognize that there is always the chance that someone will ghost me. It is not a good feeling. I keep pushing forward because I recognize that this work is greater than me. I did not have a business plan for what I thought would be a short-term service, but I have strict guidelines in place now. I refuse to deviate from those practices because they give me peace of mind. For those who have done wrong by me, I forgive you. I know that this comes with the territory when I continue to offer my expertise.
I will not harbor ill feelings or dwell on the past. There is nothing I could have done differently to have prevented some of the misfortune that has come my way. I will continue to serve gracefully and enthusiastically because I know I am doing the work God has called me to do. One thing about life is that we get to choose how we react to situations. Either it will make you better or bitter. I still have great plans for Dr. AC Writes LLC and look forward to seeing new opportunities.
